Edward (Eddie) C. Zaragoza, beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather passed away peacefully into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 12, 2021. Eddie was born May 16, 1953, in Ventura to John Soto Zaragoza & Margaret Carbajal. On November 17, 1973, he married the love of his life, Lucy Lemos. They were blessed with two loving daughters, Christine and Annette, and later with 3 grandsons Skyler, Ryan and Trevor. In 1973 at the age of 20, he began his work career at Sunkist Lemon Association in the agriculture Industry and remained devoted to his work for 48 years. This became his lifelong profession, and he dreamed of someday owning his own business in the agriculture field. He had a passion for sports, particularly baseball & football and was a devoted lifelong Dodgers & a huge Raiders fan. He loved visiting and spending time with his family, and was a loving, devoted Father & Grandfather with a gentle, kind & caring spirit that left behind so many beautiful memories. On July 7, 1975, at the age of 22, Eddie was baptized at the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus by Reverend Raymond Acosta. Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Zaragoza, and his sisters Cecelia Morales and Virginia Zaragoza. He is survived and deeply missed by his loving & devoted wife Lucy, his daughters Christine (Ernie Molina) & Annette (Jim Marriner); Brothers Mayor John C. Zaragoza (MaryEllen), David (Rachel), Alex (Grace), Gilbert (Sandi), Danny (Linda), Arthur (Elena), and Sisters Mary, Martha (Moses), Sally, Alice and Angelina; Grandsons Skyler, Ryan and Trevor and numerous nieces and nephews. Eddie will be greatly missed by all his family & friends and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
