Woodville Gordon Price Jr

Woodville (Woody) Gordon Price, Jr. age 86, passed away on May 31, 2018, at his home in Woodland Hills, California.

He was born on September 24, 1931 in Madison, Virginia and has lived in California since 1960.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Hazel White Price; daughter, Anne Gibson and her husband, Jim Gibson; son, Kendall Price and five grandchildren, Jenn, Jaqi, Nick, Johnathon, and James.

In addition to his parents, Woodville Sr. and Hazel Roberts Price, Woody is preceded in death by an infant son, Woodville G. Price, III and his brother, Harry Price.

Woody graduated from McIntire High School in 1951 where he played baseball and basketball. He was proud to serve our country in the Marines during the Korean Conflict. Woody worked as a mechanic both in Virginia and California before his retirement and has always had a love of fishing and growing tomatoes.

Woody’s service will be held at Hill and Wood Funeral Home, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 with Minister Richard Brito officiating. Interment will follow at Monticello Memory Gardens.
