Joseph Garcia

Joseph Manuel Garcia, 25, unexpectedly passed away in Moorpark, Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008. He was born on April 12, 1983, in Simi Valley to his loving parents, Lori and Jesse Garcia. Joseph was a lifelong resident of Moorpark. He attended Moorpark High and graduated in 2001. Joseph was the oldest of four loving siblings, Jennifer, Steven and Sarah Garcia. Joseph dreamed of one day becoming a recording engineer and was attending a Los Angeles recording school. In his free time, his passion was to surround himself with family and friends. He was always able to inspire laughter from all those around him. His illuminating smile and joking ways will deeply be missed. He is survived by his parents, Lori and Jesse Garcia; siblings, Jennifer, Steven and Sarah Garcia; grandmother, Mary Lerma of Moorpark; grandparents, Celia and Jesus Garcia of Fillmore; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Holy Cross Church in Moorpark. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Holy Cross Church in Moorpark. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Simi Valley. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for your generous donations.
