Desiree Mendez

On July 17th, 2015 a tragic accident claimed the life of our precious Desiree J. Mendez at 23yrs of age. She’s a Mother, Daughter, Sister, Niece, and amazing friend loved by many! Her smile could light up a room; she was that girl dancing around making funny remarks along with her wacky laugh. She loved being a mom, her beautiful 6yr old daughter Layla-Rose was the highlight of her life! We are truly blessed to see Desiree in her Princess Layla-Rose she’s is a replica of her mommy. She is survived by her Parents Manuel & Virginia Barbosa, Daughter Layla-Rose Mukul, Sisters Leslie Mendez, NiaAlicia Barbosa and Brother Anthony Aldana. She worked hard in anything she did especially her work and school at a local college. She was so talented in being beautiful; loved doing hair and makeup and helping others to feel good about themselves. Our hearts are heavy and broken and left with a void that will be hard to overcome. If it wasn’t for Family and Friends who have come together with so much love and support this would have been unbearable.
