Vincent Ordonez

Life Legacy Vincent J. Ordonez aka Chente and Shorty, our beloved brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away on May 17, 2015 at 7:30 am in his sleep. Vincent was born April 4, 1917 in Deming, New Mexico to his parents Lupe and Genaro, from Chihuahua, Mexico. He often spoke of his early life, his 6 siblings and how fortunate he was to have been married to the love of his life Triny with whom he had three wonderful children. Many times he often shared his memories serving in the United States army during World War II and the traveling he did at that time. Vincent was a very loving man, with a great sense of humor and a large heart. He was loved and adored by many, including people who had only known him through brief interactions and social media. He enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with family, traveling, trying new restaurants and meeting new people. He is survived by his brother Manuel, his daughter Kathy and son in law Abel, grandchildren Triny, Javier, Joe, Jordan, Rick, Alex, Tony and Tim, not to mention several great grandchildren. Words cannot express how much all those who know and love him will miss him. He is once again reunited with his beloved wife Triny, two sons Vincent and Richard, and his many siblings. A public viewing will take place on May 25, 2015 at 4 pm at Perez Funeral Home in Camarillo followed by a Rosary at 5pm. Mass will be held on May 26, 2015 at 10 am at Santa Clara Church, burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery.
