Pattie Gilmor

Pattie J. Gilmor, 56, went to be with the Lord after a long struggle with ovarian cancer on Wednesday April 2, 2014, at home in Camarillo, CA. She was born on August 4, 1957 in Torrance, Ca. to Patrick and JoAnn Hopkins. In 1982 Pattie married Gil Potts, and had one child, Susannah; the marriage ended in divorce. In 1991 she re-married to Anthony Gilmor and together they raised two more children, Travis and Danielle. Shortly after the birth of her second child she quit working to stay at home to homeschool her children while being an active member of her church, Calvary Chapel of Oxnard. She spent the later several years of her life working on staff at Calvary Chapel of Oxnard. Pattie is survived by her husband Tony; daughters Susannah Boos of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Danielle Gilmor; son Travis Gilmor; grandchildren Angelina, Braiden, and William; sister Debbie; niece Eanna; and nephew Allen. Pattie was predeceased by her nephew Shawn; Uncle Nate; and mother JoAnn. A Memorial service to celebrate Pattie’s life will be held at Calvary Chapel of Camarillo, 380 Mobil Ave., Camarillo, CA on April 12. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in Pattie’s name to the Calvary Chapel of Oxnard, Benevolence Fund/Gilmor.
