Maria “Toni” Hernandez Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much Our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away on Monday, July 28, 2008. Maria “Toni” Hernandez was born February 26, 1951, in Oxnard, California. She graduated from Hueneme High School and earned certifications from UCLA, and successfully pursued a career in software development. “Our mother is the strongest, most beautiful, and smartest person we’ve ever met. She touched the lives of so many people and was a true giver. She always put the needs of her children and family first. She was amazing in every way with a heart full of love. We will miss her vivacious spirit and charismatic smile. God blessed us by making her our mother. We cherish the time we had with her and will carry her in our hearts forever.” Toni will always be remembered as a remarkable woman. She loved cooking and baking for the holidays, gardening, and filling her home with antiques. She also enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, and gatherings. Most of all, she was devoted to her family. Toni is survived by her son Phillip, daughters Nicole, Christina and husband Paul Muro; grandchildren Phillip, Jr., David, Isaac, Christopher, Madelyn, and Emily; parents Ismael and Emilia Perez; brothers and sisters Manuel and wife Rosemarie, Eddie and partner Bernadine Rosas, Anita and husband Ricardo Martinez, Rick and wife Melissa, Alice and husband Rick Maciel, and Emily.
