Yvonne “Bonnie” Sandoval, 75, of Yuma, AZ passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
She was born May 4, 1942 in Oxnard, CA the daughter of Joseph Encinas and Carmen Larios, the third of five siblings. She was raised in Oxnard and the San Fernando Valley.
In 1967, Bonnie met her husband Jose at a dance. They fell in love and spent the next 50 years together.
Bonnie worked in the citrus industry then later became a bus driver for Laidlaw before moving to Yuma, AZ in 1999. There Bonnie drove for Statewide transporting patients to hospitals, a job she very much enjoyed until she retired.
Bonnie loved talking to people and making friends, never shy to start a conversation. She enjoyed going to the casino, going with anyone who was up for joining her. Bonnie and Joe enjoyed visiting family in Tijuana, San Bernardino, Oakland, Oxnard and Camarillo.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her sister Rita and sons Joe and Phillip. She is survived by her brothers John, Charles, and Thomas, her sons Chris, David and Robert, her grandchildren Joe, Christina, David, Emiliano, Karlyna, Phillip, Matthew, Gino, Karissa, Alexandria, Nathan and Charlene, and great-grandchildren Alexyz, Josiah, Amanda, Krystel, Noah and Benny as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
