Yvonne was born August 28th, 1951 in Panama City, Panama to Carmen and Louis Angelini –in 1951 the family, including brothers Luis and Tony caught a Pan
Am Clipper for America. Landing in the town of Ashton outside of Chicago, Illinois. Imagine their surprise seeing snow for the first time. Three tropical children throwing snowballs, chasing one another and enjoying this new place called America. After a few years the family rode the trans-continental train and landed at Grand Central Station in Los Angeles, where the family added three more children. Yvonne attended Audubon Junior High and graduated from Inglewood High School. Upon graduation she entered Cosmetology School and received her license.
From a very young age, Yvonne loved animals. Horses, Great Danes and cats were among her favorites. She loved riding her beloved appaloosas.
Yvonne also enjoyed tracking down Asian finds at local thrift shops and swap meets. When she found a treasure that was worn with time, she made it come alive with her restoration. Yvonne was known for her quick wit and sense of humor, during her forty-year career as a cosmetologist, Yvonne brought laughter to the hundreds of clients she served.
Her greatest joy was her granddaughters, and celebrating her Panamanian heritage through cooking and collecting art from her homeland.
Yvonne is survived by her children Tiffany Jones of Caldwell, Idaho, Maria Perryman of Thousand Oaks, Ca. Granddaughters, De’Niesha 19,Saidee, 15, Destinee 13, Santeena 13, Unequee 8, Sereena 6, and Soffee 3.
Sisters; Geraldine Seltzer of Napa, California, Denise Angelini of Ventura, Ca. Michelle Erwin of Jacksonville, Or. Brothers; Tony Angelini of Hana, Hawaii, and Dennis Angelini of Camarillo, Ca.
She is preceded in death by Louis and Carmen Angelini, parents and brother Louis Angelini, and granddaughter Lillieanna.
