William (Bill) T. Volz of Camarillo, CA. passed away peacefully on Sept. 13th
after a long fight with Parkinson's disease. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by his wife and love of his life Alice, his family and friends.
Bill was born on Dec. 23rd 1925 in New York N.Y. He was proud to serve his
country in the United States Marine Corp. in World War ll.
He and Alice were married for 61 years. They met on the 4th of July on the beach
in New York where they dated on the Harley Davidson he bought after being discharged from the Marines. He was a motorcycle cop in the Bronx, N.Y. and an Iron Worker.
Bill wanted a better life for his family and moved them from the city to San
Diego, Ca. a place he fell in love with when he was stationed at Camp Pendleton. He worked for the Operating Engineers while going to school for Real Estate with his wife.
Bill is survived by his wife Alice, daughter Linda Erickson and husband Ken, son
Bill Volz and wife Robin, daughters Sue Haigler and Lori Cook, Grandchildren Tiffany, Travis, Annie and Lauren, Great grandchildren Giovanni, Jonathan and Hayley.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Volz, Brother Robert
Volz and granddaughter Tammy Haigler. Arrangements will be made at a later date for a Military burial.
