He was born in San Diego, Calif., and graduated from Coronado High School in 1962. Bill is a retired City of Oxnard firefighter, he was with the City Fire Department for 25 years before his retirement in 1992. He made a name for himself restoring vehicles to their original state or better. He started an electrical company in which he also retired from. Bill was most at peace when he had a fishing rod in his hand. He is survived by his wife, Sandi; his five children, Matthew, Tony, Angela, Shaun, Ryan; and his four grandchildren. He will be greatly remembered and missed by his family and many friends. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the City of Oxnard Fire Department Association, current and retired, for their very gracious donation and support. A memorial service for Bill will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 17, located at the Perez Family Funeral Home Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo. Reception will follow at the Funeral Home.
