Wendy-Lynn Tully, 61 years old, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in Lynwood California on April 24, 1947. She is survived by her mother, Andree Hansen, of Solvang, CA; her son Jason Tully and his wife Jaki, of Victorville, CA and their children Jazen, Joelyn, Jaxzen, Jerzi and Jerami; her son Joshua Tully, of Ventura, CA; her brother and sister in law Paul and Becky Hansen and their son Austin, of Thousand Oaks; and her brother Lawrence Hansen of Oxnard. In addition to her immediate family, Wendy will be greatly missed by her “longest” best friend of 57 years, Connie and Don Kiblinger of Strafford, Missouri, and her “middlest” best friend and “other” family of 9 years, Suzanne and Benito Salinas, and their children Jaime, Jessica and Joey, of Ventura. Wendy was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, David Allen Tully, her son, Kevin Massey, and her father, John Guderjahn. Wendy dedicated her life to family, friends, and helping others. For the past 20 years, Wendy has passionately served persons with developmental disabilities, always seeking the best and never settling for anything less. Quite simply, Wendy made a difference in the lives of all those who knew her. Wendy and her families would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff of Vitas Innovative Hospice, whose care and compassion were truly outstanding. In lieu of flowers, the families request that donations be made in Wendy’s name directly to Vitas Charitable Foundation, 333 Lantana Ave, Suite 1120, Camarillo, CA, 93010.
