Virginia Violet Zambrano Licea, age 75, passed away at home on Monday, June 3, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born on August 4, 1937 in Oxnard and has been a resident of Ventura County all her life. She loved to garden, her fruit trees and roses. She is survived by her husband, Saul Licea Blanco, 6 daughters, Frances Ayala, Jenny Zambrano, Rosie Kopenhefer (Jeff), Barbara Tarrango (George), Jessie Mesa (Joe), Yolanda Garcia Fulton (Rick) and 4 sons, Mike Zambrano, Johnny Zambrano (Gloria), Tommy Zambrano (Michelle), Manuel Zambrano (Tarrina). Along with 30 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Surviving sisters, Nancy Rodriguez, Rita Paul, Rosemary Schisler and Josie McFarland, brothers Richard Barron, Ned Barron and John Barron. She is also survived by other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Reatha Rivera and father Frank Barron, sister Adelina Barron, brothers; Frank Barron and Tony Rivera and her grandson Gabriel (Chacho)Alcazar. Viewing will be held Thursday, June 6 from 5 to 9 pm with Mass services June 7 at 11 am at Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo, and burial at Santa Clara Cemetery right after.
