Vincent Mariscal

Vincent Mariscal, 79 years, of Moorpark CA. went to be with the Lord, Sunday March 29, 2009 in the comfort of his family and friends. He was born January 24th, 1930 in Mexico. Vince shared many wonderful years with his companion, Molly Gardner. Vince worked in construction for most of his life and was an experienced master craftsmen at building and finishing work. If you wanted the job done right, Vince was the man to do it. He was also a most faithful compadre to the men he worked with, and inspired many to his level of excellence. His friends came to his bedside, and would have willingly given anything of themselves to help him. Most importantly, he was a man with a heart of pure gold, and was loved by all who knew him. It truly is a terrible loss for us all. Vince loved fishing, long weekend trips, or just having a barbecue at his residence with friends and family. Vince is survived by his devoted companion Molly, his loving daughter, Leticia Adcock, his son in-law Nate, his grandchildren Rudy and Andrea Gutierrez, his nephew Ricky Lopez and wife Patty, their kids and his many nephews and nieces. His passing is also mourned by the multitude of friends who will never forget him and his beautiful spirit; Vaya Con Dios, Vicente! We will miss your laugh, your incredible character and your loving kindness... Thanks for always being there. We love you so much.
