With a great sadness our beloved son, Vicente Arzate Jr., was taken from us suddenly Jan. 30, 2010. The Pimentel Mendoza and Arzate Ruiz families will forever honor the beautiful young boy that was just beginning to mature into a thoughtful and kind young man.
He is remembered by fellow students and teachers at Adolfo Camarillo High School as outstandingly kind, respectful and as someone who enjoyed music, football, basketball and was almost never without his iPod.
Junior is survived by his mother, Maria Eugenia (Kena) Pimentel and his father, Vicente Arzate Sr. and stepmother, Maria Luisa Arzate; brothers, Jorge and Jose Victor Arzate; and beloved sister, Jessica Arzate. In addition, he is mourned by his maternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Erasmo Pimentel Mendoza; aunts, Imelda, Janet, Maria, Guadalupe and Jessica; and uncles, Jose and Huber Pimentel along with cousins, Haidee, Aaron, Crystal, Jacklyn, Christian, Shantel, Kaytlen, Janet, Maya, Enzo, Brandon, Jose de Jesus and Casandra. On the paternal side he is survived and mourned by the Arzate Ruiz family including his close bond with his grandmother, Zoila Ruiz along with aunts, Patricia Arzate, Nancy Chacon-Arzate, uncle Rafael Arzate and cousins Alfonso, Fernando, Monica, David and Diego.
For all who came in contact with this exceptional young man and wish to honor and pay their respects, a visitation will be held beginning at 5 p.m with the rosary to begin at 7pm, Friday, Feb. 5, at the Perez Family Chapel in Camarillo. This will be followed by a Mass at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Camarillo, with burial at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park Saturday, Feb. 6, at 1:30 p.m.
