Timothy Nelson Trevathan was born October 3,1960 and died June 4,2013. He was raised in Simi Valley and attended 1 year kindergarten at Simi Elementary School and then 8 years at St Rose of Lima, 1 year at Hillside Jr High school, 2 years at Royal High School where he passed the equivalency test and proceeded to Moorpark Community College where achieved his 2 year degree. He worked at gas stations, then Kmart, and then joined his father and me at Litton Mellonics. He learned Mainframe operations and continued with this until after he was married in 1988. He tried professional recruiting and succeeded to the point where he had his own company and was very successful through the new millennium. In 1986 Tim requested a partnership in purchasing a condo in Long Beach. We lived together for 2 years until he announced he was getting married. He was married at Pepperdine grounds hillside outdoors wedding overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A short time later Tim & his wife Darlene had their child Grace. Tim decided later that his solution was to catch up on his academic Skills and get a masters degree. Tim is survived by his daughter Grace, his ex-wife Darlene, his parents and their spouses Terry N Trevathan & Enna Trevathan, Diane Trevathan-Ramirez & Armando Chan. His brothers Travis, David, Rashad and his sisters Andrea, Darlene, Cyndi, Kintina. Tim was very fond of music and was the best of his siblings on a small piano, accordion, harmonica, bass guitar and rhythm guitar. He also spent lots of time recording his own mixes of songs. Rod Stewart and Bruce Springsteen were two that Tim really got Into. Tim is believed to have succumbed to Bipolar Paranoia which ended his life tragically the morning of June 4,2013. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 3-6pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Home, 887 Patriot Drive, Suite J in Moorpark.
