Theresa Reveles

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Theresa Monzon Reveles, with loved ones by her side, went to be with our Lord on May 4, 2012, at the age of 99. Theresa was born in El Rio, California on December 25, 1912 to Luis and Mary Monzon. She worked for Safeway for 35 years before retiring in 1975. She volunteered much of her time to St. Anthony's Church and Women's Council. The time she dedicated to her grandchildren was what she cherished the most. She also liked to take trips with her husband of 50 years, Manuel Reveles Sr. Her home was the site of many family celebrations, and she loved caring for her guests. Even at 99 years old, she wanted company taken care of before she was. Always a giver, Theresa gave to many, and we appreciate all the help, love, and time she shared with us. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Susie Lopez (Tony), grandchildren David Lopez (Rachelle), Anthony Lopez, and Theresa Lopez (Darin Acosta), great-grandchildren, Samantha, Nathan, Anthony II, Darian, DJ, Joseph, Matthew, Katherine, Logan, and great-great-grandson Xavier. Step children Dolores Reveles, Martha Broadway (Jim), Manuel Reveles Jr., Willie Reveles and their families. She is also survived by her sisters Clara Martinez, Ruth Gonzalez, and brother Arthur Monzon. She was preceded in death by her parents Luis and Mary, sisters Irene Segovia, Louise Macias, Della Amador, brother Edward Monzon, and her husband Manuel Reveles Sr. Special Thanks to Las Posas Home Health and Vitas Hospice for their tender loving care of Theresa and her family.
