Steven Ernie Placencia II September, 17 1981 - April 29, 2015 Steven Ernie Placencia II, 33, of Oxnard passed away in Los Angeles, CA on April 29th, 2015. Steven was born in Fresno, CA on September 17, 1981 to Linda and Steve Placencia. Steven worked as an IT Consultant and enjoyed participating in weight training, hiking, and running. Steven is survived by his wife Kim, his children Corbin, Ciara and Mattix, and her children Savannah, Brent and Brady. Steven is also survived by his mother Linda Placencia of Oxnard, father Steve Placencia of Fresno, brother James Hornik of West Hollywood, and his grandmother Bonnie Morris of Santa Barbara. Other surviving family members include Aunt Chris and Uncle Robert Quijano, Uncle Frank Placencia of Fresno, Uncle Todd Placencia of Fresno, Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Floyd Hansel of San Diego, Aunt Tempie and Uncle Abe Forosan of Virginia, Uncle Doyle and Aunt Melissa Freeman of North Carolina, Uncle Noal and Aunt Sharon of Santa Barbara, and many cousins. Steven's closest friends Chris and Adi Rodriguez, Justin Leos, Hector Cano, and John and Shauna Granger as well as his many other friends and acquaintances will miss his indelible smile. Memorial services will be held at Perez Family Funeral Home of Camarillo CA on Saturday, May 16th at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made in to the Steven Placencia Memorial Fund.
