Steve and Linda Arthur completed their final adventure on September 14th while doing what they love; exploring the outdoors. They will always be remembered by their three children Bobby Arthur, his wife Julie, and their three children; Justin Arthur, his wife Joan, and their two children; and Allison Bottcher, her husband Jared, and their two children.
Steve and Linda always lived life to the fullest through wilderness adventures with friends and the Valencia Hiking Crew, as well as searching for geocaches with their 7 grandkids who adored them. They had a far reaching impact on the community through coaching soccer, raising guide dogs for the blind and mentoring kids through various activities. They both had a love for laughter and friendship.
Linda was a Master Gardener who shared her passion for the outdoors and home grown vegetables with her kids and grandkids. She dedicated her life to her children and instilled in them the importance of kindness and spending time together. She loved visiting her grandkids in Folsom California, Klamath Falls Oregon, and here in Camarillo.
Steve's role in the community went well beyond his job in law enforcement. He was a storyteller and jokester who had a contagious laugh. He had a passion for playing golf with his sons and his father as well as traveling the world with his loving wife of 38 years.
They leave behind a legacy of people they have impacted in their hometown of Camarillo and all the wonderful places they were able to explore. They will continue their adventure together with love.
