Sandra Lee Sorkness

Sandy Sorkness, age 56, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Monday, November 30th. She was at home and surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born on May 20th, 1953 in Ridgecrest, CA to Charles and Lucille Howell. On the 8th of June in 1980, she was married to Alan Sorkness in Sun Valley. She had a passion for fitness and worked as a gymnastics instructor, a lifeguard, and a PE teacher until having children and becoming a homemaker. She loved animals, painting, swimming, and spending time with her family. She had an undying love for her husband and family...a love that can only be compared to Christ's love for the church. As a Christian, Sandy loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and served Him until her final breath. As a family of fellow believers we know we will see her again soon. She is survived by her loving husband Alan and her daughters Shelby and Erikka.
