Sally C. Padre

Sally Carbonel Cabatbat Padre, 74, has passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in Moorpark, California, of complications from pneumonia. 

Sally was born on January 13, 1944 in Guimba, Philippines to Benigno and Leona Cabatbat. On June 30, 1965 she married Rudy Buenavista Padre, Sr.; together they raised their son, Rudy Jr., and daughter, Rosemarie.  Sally was many wonderful things to many people, having enjoyed an earlier career in infectious disease research in the Washington, D.C. area, and came to California 30 years ago to enjoy the mid-career shift to the cosmetology industry in the Los Angeles area.  It is in the beautiful hills of Moorpark where Sally and Rudy settled into their idyllic garden terrace, retired and enjoyed visits from their grandchildren.

She is survived by her best friend and husband of 53 years, Rudy Sr., children, Rudy Jr. [Jade] and Rosemarie [James], grandsons, Logan and Dominic, and grand dogs, Thomas and Daisy Mae.  In addition to her parents, Sally is preceded in death by her sister, Beatrice Cabatbat, her brother, Danilo Cabatbat, and her baby daughter, Rosalyn Cabatbat Padre.
