Rudy J. Perez Jr.

Rodolfo J. Perez Jr., "Rudy Jr." passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 with his loving wife by his bedside. Rudy knew the Lord and we know he is rejoicing with his family in heaven. Rudy Jr., was born April 28, 1966 to Rodolfo Sr. & Rosalie Perez of Moorpark. He is a proud Moorpark High School Alumni who made sure to attend every football game and was very active in youth sports. He loved barbecuing for his family and was a Rams, Laker & Dodger Fan. Rudy always made sure our family stayed united. He would include everyone when he wanted to gather and made sure we always had enough food. He was so happy to move back to Moorpark to be close to his parents and family. Recently Rudy was proud to assist his son Anthony in coaching his grandson Anthony & Godson Paul's Little League Team. He always made himself known at the fields, games and parties. His strong voice was reassuring when he gave advice and wanted to get your attention. He loved playing cards with his family. You could count on Rudy Jr to be there for every party, sports event, dance event, especially if you had that extra ticket, he was always there to accompany you. And if Rudy was there, you knew you always had a Dancing Partner! A friend described Rudy perfectly, "Rudy was such a tough dude on the outside but had the kindest heart". That was Rudy, always putting others first. Rudy worked many years in Construction as a Cement Mason with his dad. He later helped his brother open Perez Family Funeral Home and served with his family for the past 15 years. Rudy definitely left his mark with all the families he served. Rudy is survived by his loving wife Courtney Perez, parents Rudy & Rosy Perez of Moorpark, children Rudy (Sam) Perez III, Jimmy (Jacqui) Perez, Anthony (Cortney) Perez, Monet (Martin) Poot, Marissa & Jeremy, grandchildren Anthony, Jayleene, Logan, Christian and Jayden, sister Renee (Johnny) Zaragoza, brother Robert (Pauline) Perez, uncle Charlie Valdivia, nephews Jacob, Robby & Paul (godson), nieces Jaclyn (Oscar), Janette, Rayline & Presley. He also leaves behind many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Primo & Carmen Perez and Esther & Carlos Valdivia. A Celebration of Life will be held for Rudy on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 4pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Home Outdoor Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo. Please remember to maintain 6 feet distance, and everyone must wear a mask. Burial will be private.
