(This will broadcast at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 14, 2010) Roy Thomas Masoner Oxnard, CA Tom, 45 years old, passed away at home on Saturday, 10/09/10. He was born 8/22/1965 in Los Angeles, CA to Carol & Morgan Masoner. Tom grew up in the San Gabriel Valley area of Southern CA and has lived the last 15 years in Oxnard, CA. After attending Charter Oak High School, Tom joined the United States Army, completed Airborne Jump School at Fort Benning, Georgia and was assigned to the 82 Airborne division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. For the last nine years, he worked in the Meat Department at the Albertsons grocery store on Ventura Road in Oxnard, CA. He loved watching the history channel, his beloved cat, Max, a good cup of coffee and being with his friends! He will be greatly missed by his mother, Carol Masoner of Terrebonne, Oregon, his sister Kristy Glinski, husband Darin, nephew Mason and nieces Devon & Morgan also of Oxnard, brother David Masoner, wife Amanda, nieces Alivia & Bailey of Salem, Oregon and brother Michael Masoner, wife Karen, nephew Nick, niece Brooke and brand new nephew, Jacob, of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Tom is preceded in death by his father, Morgan Eldon Masoner who passed away in 1974.
