Ronald Payton

Ron was born in Ojai, Ca to Richard and Betty Payton on March 2nd 1956. He graduated from Nordhoff High School. Ron worked for many people over the years doing varies Union Construction jobs and anything he could do to help a friend. Ron loved to play pool, ride his motorcycle, laugh, golf, gamble at the Chumash and most of all he liked to have a great time. Ron is survived by his mother and father, Dick and Betty Payton, his sister Sandy Miller and her husband Jack Miller, his brother Mike Payton and his wife Sheri Payton, his sister Marsha Morris and her husband Jim Morris, his son Michael Payton, his daughter Jennifer Barrett and her husband Shane Barrett, his granddaughter Ava Barrett and his 3 nephews’ and 4 nieces. Ron was loved by all in the Ojai Community. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Legion Post #482. Please join family and friends for a Memorial Celebration which will be held on Monday May 27th from 2-4 pm at the American Legion Hall at 843 E Ojai Ave.
