Ronald “Ron” Nelinger

Ronald "Ron" Nelinger, was born on September 15, 1942, in Michigan. He was a long time resident of Thousand Oaks for over 50 years. He passed away suddenly on December 31, 2024 at the age of 82 surrounded by loved ones. Ron is survived by his wife, Connie Nelinger; 4 children, Sheila Nelinger, Gus Nelinger, Reggie Nelinger and Suzanne Maki; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. As a dedicated father, he worked hard to provide for his family and he always made time for his children. He will be deeply missed.

He loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He was an excellent mechanic and known for his vast knowledge of cars. He enjoyed reading the newspaper, woodworking, building things, fixing things up, live music and playing keno. He was loved by many and will always be remembered for his kind heart and gentle soul.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the T.O.H.S. Lancer Football or Basketball programs in his honor.
