Ronald Long

Ronald Michael Long was born on February 28,1962,  to Romulus and Josephine Long.

He grew up in a wonderful neighborhood where he made life long friends. Ronald attended elementary school and junior high in Santa Paula. He played many sports growing up and excelled at basketball and baseball.  He was on many championship teams at Santa Paula Little League, which became his home away from home.  He graduated St. Bonaventure in 1980. He attended Ventura JC and transferred to San Diego State.  He continued living in San Diego for many years and started a video distribution business at UCSD.  He got sick several years ago and moved back to Santa Paula where he took pride in his loving care he gave his father, and then his mother.  He was known for his storytelling and unique sense of humor of his many adventures and travels.  Unfortunately, his life was cut short, and he left with his unfulfilled dream of moving back to San Diego…

He is preceded in dead by his father, Romulus, and survived my his mother, Josephine, his sister Patti (Pacific Palisades, CA) and Michael (Oxnard, CA), and his nephews, Steven (Malibu, CA) and Jonathan (Santa Monica, CA) and Scott (Minneapolis, MN)

Rosary will be held Friday at Perez Funeral Home at 7:00. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 at St. Sebastian Church followed by burial at Santa Paula Cemetery
