Rogelio Regis, lovingly nicknamed Cholo and went by Roger later in life, was born to Prudencio and Prudencia Regis in Makati, Philippines on March 8, 1957. He and his six siblings were raised in a military family on Camp Aguinaldo. His dad and siblings, Manong Mario and his wife Emma, Joqui, Jimbo and his wife Len, George and his wife Chit, Dia and her husband Teng, and Me-an remain close to each other.
Roger earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. He worked for Bank of America for 25 years before retiring to enjoy more time with his family.
Aside from being a dedicated and tireless worker, Roger enjoyed traveling and exploring the United States with his family. He loved to drink "ICE COLD" Coca Cola and developed a passion for gardening. During the days he would sit in his garden and admire the visiting hummingbirds. On Saturday nights, he went out to the movies with his wife and often listened to "Disco Saturday Night" on the radio and his dance moves would have put Patrick Swayze to shame.
Roger's greatest achievement is his children.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Ruiz, and his children, Ryan Joseph and his wife, Shinette, Mark and his wife, Christina, Jacqueline and her boyfriend, Jimmy, and his granddaughter, Chesley Ryne.
Roger joined his loving mother in heaven on March 17, 2018.
