Rodolfo P. “Rudy” Perez, age 77, of Oxnard began his journey home on July 13, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Rudy was born on June 27, 1939 in the town of El Molino, in the province of Zacatecas, Mexico. Rudy was very proud of his Mexican heritage. Rudy traveled to the United States as a very young man where he worked in the fields, built Adobe and Brick homes, dug trenches and strived for a better life. Rudy was a very, strong and hardworking man.
Rudy then moved to Oxnard, California and fell deeply in love after meeting a beautiful young lady, Margarita Carmen Jurado. After a brief courtship they shortly thereafter were united in marriage. Although the marriage did not fully blossom they separated approximately 11 years later. Both Rudy and Margie remained close friends regardless and vowed together to raise their 3 lovely children. The children always felt endless and undying love from both our parents.
Rudy was employed by Boething Treeland Farms, Ventura Ca for just shy of 40 years. Rudy was a dedicated employee and over the years he ascended to the position of Foreman. Rudy thoroughly enjoyed watching the Los Angeles Dodgers. Rudy loved his Catholic religion also and would watch mass on TV every day, a dedicated man of the Lord. His dedication to the Lord came first, if mass was on the Dodger game just had to wait for a bit. Rudy was an amazing father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend.
