Robert Paramo

Robert (Bob) Jose Paramo, 71, Moorpark, passed away on August 1, 2022. Bob was born November 1, 1950, in Simi Valley, California, to Jose and Antonia Paramo and was a lifelong resident of Ventura County. He graduated from Simi Valley High School in 1969. He was drafted and inducted into the United States Army on March 14, 1970, and served in Motor Transport in South Korea and was honorably discharged on November 19, 1971. On April 28, 1973, he married Linda J. Mata in Ventura, California. Mr. Paramo worked for Southern California Gas Company for 36 years retiring in 2016. Bob loved camping with his wife and children. In retirement he traveled with his wife on trips to Hawaii, California Wineries and other US locations. He is survived by his wife Linda J. Paramo; son Bobby (Stephanie) Paramo and grandson Everett; and daughter Christina Paramo. Sisters Margaret (Leon) Talanantez, Carol Cota and Maggie Paramo. Sister in-laws Betty (Thomas) Corral, Patricia Mata and brother in-law Ed (Rob) Mata. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Paramo and brother in-law John Cota; parents in-law Edward and Rubie Mata and sister in-law Lisa Marie Mata. A Remembrance Service will begin promptly at 12 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Perez Family Funeral Home 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo, California 93010. Followed by a Celebration of Life reception at Cantara Cellars 126 N Wood Road, Suite 100, Camarillo, California 93010.
