Robert Quinto Abba passed away at 3:00 pm on Easter Sunday. Robert died as he had lived, recognizing that Gods power is the greatest power in the world. As he had wanted, he passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. At the very end of his life Georgette, who cared for him so lovingly for the last week, lit four votive candles of the sacred Heart of Jesus, Angel of la Guardia and Robert drew his last breath.
Robert was born in Monte Carla and spent his childhood there. He loved to talk about his experiences during World War II. Robert worked for Hewlett Packard in Santa Rosa, Calif., for 25 years until he retired in 1996 when he and Josette moved to Ventura to be closer to their grandchildren Robert was a master craftsman and was renowned for the spectacular model airplanes he built. He mentored many aspiring airplane craftsmen and taught them how to fly them. He was also a master marksman and won many awards for his target shooting. He followed Formula One Auto Racing all over the world. He was a member of the Flying Circus.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Josette; stepdaughters Annette, Georgette, Paulette, Jeanette (son-in-law Lincoln) and Juliette (son-in-law Kevin.) He leaves behind many grandchildren, Matt, Blake, Nicole, Little Lincoln, Kate, Dylan, Cameron, Rylee; and great grandson Jackson.
