Ricky Dean Green

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ricky Dean Green, a beloved husband, brother and son, who passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 24, 2012. Born Oct. 15, 1957 in Portland, Oregon to Joe and Judy Green, Rick was a long time resident of Camarillo. Rick was a Union Carpenter for 35 years. He took great pride in his work. As one client wrote in a letter of thanks “your professionalism, attitude and uncompromising attention to detail could not be appreciated more.” Rick enjoyed many activities, fishing, traveling, riding his Harley and going to the casino. But Rick’s passion in life was his wife Carla and his family. Rick was a loud and opinionated man who never left anyone wondering how he felt. He would do anything for anyone, always lending a helping hand. Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Green and his Granny, Bartie Lown. Rick is survived by his wife Carla, step-son Korey Mazariego (Tamika), father Joe Green, brother Rex (Diana) Green, sister Debbie (Ray) Roberson and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. A service will be held at Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Rd, Camarillo, Ca. 93010, Friday, October 5, 2012 at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
