Richard Arenas

Richard Joseph Arenas Moorpark, CA Richard Joseph "Dick" Arenas of Granada Hills California died November 24,2015 he was 64 years old. He never married. Dick was born May 31,1951 in Oxnard California to Jess and Carmen Arenas both deceased. He was brother to Michael Arenas (Elaine spouse, Alison niece), David Arenas (Lonnie spouse deceased, current wife Joyce, children Andy And Devon) Anna Kistner (Rick spouse deceased). Dick was raised and spent most of his life in Moorpark. He went to Flory and Poindexter elementary schools in Moorpark. As a freshman, attending Moorpark High School for one week he made the decision to attend Santa Clara High School in Oxnard where he graduated in 1969. Following high school Dick worked for Mission Linen Supply and Burroughs Corporation. In 1970 he was fortunate to find work with City of Thousand Oaks in the landscape division. He remained with the City of Thousand Oaks for 27 years. A Rosary will be recited 10am January 8,2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Moorpark with a funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am. A luncheon reception will follow at Cosgrove Center on church grounds.
