On the night of September 4, 2022, Rick Limon passed away at the age of 58. Rick is survived by his daughter Veronica Limon, family, and all who love him dearly. Rick could light up any room with his laughter and witty anecdotes. He always welcomed everyone into his home. On most weekends his garage would be buzzing with the sound of joyous conversation backdropped with music as he tinkered away on one of his many creative projects. Before her passing, his beloved dog Kayly would be nestled in his arms as he planned future camping trips and barbecues with his guests.
Rick was an avid collector of objects of interest, had a display case of miniatures, and kept a treasure trove of stories with friends and loved ones. His keen memory and detail rich retellings made everyone feel valued. His daughter Vero blissfully recalled, “If you got a nickname from him, you know you made it in life.” Rick sought to enjoy quality time with those he loved as often as possible. No one who met Rick could forget his infectious laughter.
A devoted father and son, Rick would ensure to spend time with his mother, Elvira, often spoiling her with her favorite meal, or taking her to leave flowers at her late husband Octavio Senior’s grave. He loved nothing more than spending time with his best friend/daughter Vero. The two could be seen cruising around town hitting up their favorite restaurants, genuinely enjoying each other's company.
Those who have had the pleasure of knowing Rick all feel the absence he left, let us all come together to celebrate his life.
***Please wear your Dodger’s Gear to the Mass & Celebration of Life as Rick would love to see everyone repping his favorite team.***
