Raymond Jeremiah Steinfeld

Ray, at age 94 passed away October 4, 2009 He was born October 09,1914, in Alexandria, South Dakota, to his parents George and Emma Steinfeld. Ray is preceded in death by his wife Emelia (Mia). They were married 67 years ago. Mia is residing at the Lexington Senior Community in Ventura. Ray began his career at age twenty-five with the Boeing Aerospace Company, in Santa Monica, where he was precision machinist, lead man and supervisor for thirty-six years. After retirement, Ray and Mia moved from Reseda to Ventura where he pursued his hobbies of woodworking and gardening. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Ray's daughters Patti Sheldon, resides in Manhattan Beach with her husband Bill. His daughter Katie Rice, also resides in Manhattan Beach with her husband Bill. His son Bob Steinfeld resides in Hanford with his wife Shirley, and Ray's great grand children Taylor and Bobby. His grandson Scott Steinfeld, Navy Reserve, is serving in Afghanistan. His grandson Ryan Steinfeld resides in Cannon Beach, Oregon with his daughter Alivia Memorial Mass for Ray Steinfeld Was held on October 9, 2009 10:30 am, at the Victoria Care Center Chapel, Ventura, CA. Donald Mulcahy presiding The Funeral Mass for Ray Steinfeld Will be held October 29, 2009 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels 555 West Temple St. Los Angeles, CA 90012 The service will take place at 1:30pm, in the St. Vibiana’s Chapel, followed by the internment in the Mausoleum.
