Ramona Aceves

In Loving Memory Ramona Prado Aceves 85 of Oxnard went with the Lord on September 23, 2024. Ramona was born in Santa Paula, CA on September 5th, 1939 to Frank and Simona Prado. She has been a resident for very long time ,where she raised her family. Ramona is survived by her son Leonard, daughter Valerie and her two granddaughters. 

She will be missed by her siblings Beatrice, Connie, Linda, Maryann and many other family members.Ramona met her husband Fred through family. They were married July 4th, 1964 and were married for 57 years after Fred's passing.Ramona worked for the Ocean View School District as a teacher aide. She later worked for the Camarillo State Hospital. Ramona went back to school to work on a degree in Criminal Justice at Ventura College which lead her to work at the California Youth Authority in Camarillo as a teacher aide until she Retired in 2001.

Ramona loved her family very much and always encouraged us to further our education. She enjoyed going camping with her family, family gatherings and loved hanging out with her sisters. Ramona also loved listening to music especially those Oldies But Goodies. When Ramona became a grandma she loved doing arts and crafts with her granddaughters. During football season Ramona enjoyed hanging out with her son and her husband. She loved watching most movies except horror. She will be reunited with her Husband Fred, Father Frank, Mother Simona, and Sister Anita. 

We will miss Mom's smile, her laughter, sense of humor, kindness and love for all of us. You will always be in our hearts.
