Ralph Daniel Benavidez

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ralph Daniel Benavidez 37years old of Oxnard CA on January 21st, 2024. Ralph passed away in a fatal car accident in Washington State WA.

Ralph was born on July 18th, 1986, in Ventura CA to Elizabeth Bustos and Ralph Benavidez. He attended Elementary and high school in Oxnard & Pt. Hueneme CA. Ralph leaves behind his 13year daughter Sophia who he loved and cherished with all his heart. He was the best dad and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for her.  

Ralph proudly served our country for 10years in the US Army, becoming a proud Sergeant. After retiring from the army, he chose to continue life in Washington State with the person who mattered the most to him, his daughter. Well living in WA, he found a love and joy in fishing and most recently crabbing all while making sweet memories with his daughter Sophia. He loved spending time and hanging out at the lake with family and friends as well as a good bar-b-que and making his favorite mac & cheese.

Ralph was the most loving son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend you could ever have. Ralph will always be known as a kind loving and gentle soul who had a big heart and was always considerate of other feelings. He will always be loved by so many and will be truly missed by all his family and friends and will never be forgotten.

Ralph is preceded in death by his Father Ralph Benavidez Sr.

Ralph is survived by his mother: Elizabeth and stepfather: Javier Estrada, sisters: Rachelle and Rene Benavidez, brother: Jess Coronado, Grandmothers: Sally Benavidez, Angie Landazuri. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
