Rachel Almaguer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mom, Grandma, Tia Rachel. She passed away peacefully, Friday January 9th with her daughter by her beside. Rachel is survived by her children, Jimmy (Terry) Almaguer of Redding CA, Violet (Cody) Waite of Seattle WA, Dennis (Rosario) Almaguer of Moorpark, and Christine Almaguer, of Moorpark. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Almaguer, sons Alex and Michael, Parents Adrian & Helen Barraza, sisters Esther Valdivia & Jessie Sanchez, and brothers Arthur & Leo Barraza. She will be missed by the entire community. Visitation for Rachel will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 5-9pm with a prayer service beginning at 7pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Home Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo. A Funeral Service for Rachel will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00am located at Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura.
