Phil Gutierrez

Phil Gutierrez passed away peacefully in his home in Inglewood California on April 22,2013 surrounded by family and friends. He was 87 years old born on December 6, 1925 in Santa Barbara California. He was a army veteran, a master barber for 60 years and enjoyed doing income taxes during tax season. He loved hanging out with his friends at his barber shop and he loved his garden he enjoyed growing vegetables and fruit. He had a heart of gold for animals his best friends were his dogs. He loved his family calling everyone"Jack"that was his nickname for everyone. He married his wife Rosie in Santa Barbara and they were married for 70 years. He is survived by his wife Rosie Gutierrez four children Phil Gutierrez, John Gutierrez, Lizabeth Ventura and Patricia Gutierrez. His twelve grandchildren Ronnie, John, Keri, Yvette, Brent, Natasha, Crishna, Crystal, Kendall, Candice, Jon-Patrick, and Anthony. Eleven great grandchildren Rosalind, Bryce, Kylee, Vanessa, Michael-John, Lexee, Noelle, Austin, Matthew, Imani and Jacob. Two siblings his brother Henry Gutierrez and sister Scorro Gutierrez. Son-in-law Peter Ventura and Daughter-in-law Wilma Gutierrez. A Visitation for Phil will be held on Friday, April 26th from 4-8pm with the Rosary beginning at 7pm Located at the Perez Family Funeral Home Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 3pm also at the Perez Family Funeral Home Chapel in Camarillo.
