He enjoyed traveling when he could, trips to Yosemite or Las Vegas and Mexico where he and his sons Larry and Kirk had for many years volunteering their time to a convent in Mexico with what work needed to be done.
He liked to fish, play pool, he had a passion for growing roses, early in the morning you could find him watering them and after work he would be pruning them. They would flourish under his care.
He was know for having gatherings at his home, making carnitas and chicharones.
Perfecto had many joys with all he did if it was with his work, travel, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, friends, gardening, fishing, playing pool, volunteering.
But his greatest joy and love would be that of what he had for his wife of 62 years. Mary Lou Beltran.
It was rare that a day went by that they did not talk and if either was away from one another, they would speak on the phone.
