May 24, 1923 – October 13, 2009 – Oceanside, California
Pauline “Penny” Manley was born to Jennie M. Trombatore and Jacob M. Trombatore in Bell, California May 24, 1923. She led a full and interesting life. She worked for the studios in the 1940’s & ran her own employment agency in the 70’s. She also worked for Mira Costa Community College for many years until she was almost 80. In addition to the aforementioned, she was also the tour director for the community in which she lived in Peacock Hills, Oceanside, CA. Penny passed away Tuesday, October 13 at the age of 86 after a grueling battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Her daughters Diane Harden, Janice Manley and her granddaughter Taryn Pauline Harden survive her.
She touched the lives of those who knew her and was always willing to lend a helping hand. All who knew her will miss her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local Alzheimer’s Association in order to eradicate this horrible disease. While the family knows that, she is in a far better place and she is no longer suffering, our hearts are heavy with our loss. We loved Mom deeply and she is greatly missed.
Mom has requested there be no service.
