Ollie Cleveland Stidham

Born February 8, 1919, to Edward and Beatrice Stidham, in Rufe, OK, went to his heavenly home, February 11, 2011, from his home in Oak View, CA.
He was a WWII veteran, serving in the Navy C.B. in England, preparing for the D- Day invasion of France.
He married Bobbie Jean Lucy December 31, 1946 in Osceola, AR.
He worked at the Kansas City Railway Terminal as a supervisor for 28 years. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed playing guitar, golf, baseball and fishing. He volunteered, playing guitar in the Westernaires Band for more than 20 years at the Ventura Adult Senior Center and was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers. He was a member of the Live Oak Christian Fellowship Church in Oak View. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bobbie Stidham of Oak View; son and daughter in-law Troy & Eva Stidham and daughter and son in-law Nancy & Bill Simpson, all of Paragould, AR; daughter Susan Ozorkiewicz of Salem, OR; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild . He was preceded in death by his son, Staff Sgt. Larry D. Stidham, who died from exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam.
