Nina Figueroa left this world on July 12, 2022 to join her brother Alex De La Rosa Jr, Tia Vero, cousin Poli & Grandma Lita in Heaven. A loving Sister, Daughter, Mother & Friend. She was born on 5/23/1979 & was raised in Nyeland Acres Ca. As a child Nina enjoyed spending time at her grandparents home where she was showered with love & adored by her Grandma Lita & Grandpa Joe. As a young girl Nina enjoyed singing, dancing & music. In her teenage years she had a passion for poetry & art. Alongside her drawings; Nina became quite the poet & artist writing multiple poems well into adulthood. As a young lady her beauty was so captivating she captured the hearts of many men. As a woman she was full of life, had a strong will to survive,she had the best laugh; a hard giggle that made people smile, she was delicate & sensitive. Nina enjoyed cooking, going to parties with friends, being a free spirit, she considered herself a scratcherholic & was often quite lucky at winning. Nina loved her children & kept them close to her heart. Nina had a wanderlust throughout her life & will always be remembered for self sacrificing ways, bravery & courage, kind heart, sweet smile & charisma. She always kept it real & was a straight shooter. She was a solid friend & held her head high with dignity & respect. Nina’s memory & legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will forever be missed & never be forgotten. Nina is survived by her Mother Rosemarie Cruz from El Rio Ca, her Father Ralph Figueroa from El Rio Ca, her Sister Amy De La Rosa from El Rio, Brother Ralph Figueroa Jr from Oxnard, children Christoper Vera Jr from Oxnard, Abby Coster from Oxnard, Phoenix Rosales from Oxnard, Grandma Rosemarie Kerner (Grandma Mickey) from Fillmore, Grandpa Rudolph (Profe) Gonzalez from Santa Paula along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends & distant relatives. Services will be held at Church of Christ in Santa Paula on Friday July 29, 2022 at 3:30p.m.
