Nickolas Squeo of Camarillo, CA, age 90 passed away on May 13, 2010. He was born Dec. 9, 1919 to Antonietta and Giovanni Squeo in Providence, RI. He married his sweetheart Elizabeth Parisi in Providence, RI and has spent 67 years celebrating their love for each other. He opened his first business, a grocery store and meat market, at 18 years old. He enlisted in the United States Coast Guard during World War II and served until he was honorably discharged in 1945. They lived in Providence until 1960 when they moved to Sun Valley, CA. He found C&C Fence and Supply Co. and ran his business until he retired in 1992 when he turned the business over to his sons who are still carrying on business as usual. With his future ahead of him he spent the next 18 years enjoying his love of woodworking and making priceless furniture for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Squeo of Camarillo, CA. He left behind three children, Annette Slocombe and husband Doug of Ft. Mohave, AZ, John Squeo and wife Linda of Simi Valley, CA, Sal Squeo and wife Kathy of Thousand Oaks, CA. Nickolas was blessed with five grandchildren, Michael Pierce and wife Rita, Greg Pierce and wife Kery, Lisa Fowler and husband Bruce, Sandy Pine and husband David, John Squeo and wife Lana and great granddaughter, Sophie Squeo. His sister Louise Tricarico of Rhode Island and brother Joseph Squeo of Massachusetts. His daughter Maria Squeo precedes him in death.
