Nancy Romero

Nancy went home to be with our Lord on Friday November 12, 2010. Nancy was born on September 6, 1967 in Port Hueneme, CA to Henry and Trinidad Velasquez of Ventura, CA. Nancy possessed such an incredible strength, perserverance, courage and such a will to live regardless of the challenges she faced. With her courage she led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She had a larger than life attitude, her beautiful smile could light up an entire room. Although Nancy’s life would seem short to some, but for those who were touched by her, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds quantity of time in which you live it. Nancy graduated from Buena High School in 1985 and went to work for the Ventura County Assessors Office. She had two beautiful children with her marriage to Alfredo Romero. Nancy is survived by her daughter Tara Romero and her parents Henry and Trinidad Velasquez all of Saticoy, CA. Along with many Aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her son Alfred “A.J.” Romero, sisters Lisa and Olivia Velasquez.
