Michella DiNielli-Ortega

Michella Patrice DiNielli-Ortega, 47, of Camarillo and Ventura, went home to heaven on Thursday, October 20, 2016. Michella was born on February 5, 1969 in Mission Hills, CA, to Dominick and Mary DiNielli. The DiNielli family later moved to Camarillo in 1978. She attended Saint Bonaventure High School and graduated in 1987. She also studied at Mount St. Mary’s University, where she loved the atmosphere and studied Voice and Liturgy. Michella graduated from Mount St. Mary’s with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music on May 13, 1999. Her love of music led her to become a piano and voice teacher. She also worked at several different Catholic Churches, where she would use her talent by providing the music for Mass and other services. The majority of her music ministry was spent as Director of Music for St. Mary Magdalen Church in Camarillo. Michella loved writing music, baking, attending concerts and going to Disneyland. Michella was completely devoted to her daughter, Autumn. You could see it in her eyes every time she looked at her, always putting her daughter first. Being her mom, watching her dance and grow into a strong, independent woman was one of the many joys in her life. There was nothing that she would not do for her. The other love of her life was her husband, Eric. They would have celebrated two years of marriage this October 25. She found happiness and peace when she was with him and together they found the strength to overcome many obstacles that were put in their way. They spent her last days on Earth together, holding hands and praying, knowing the blessings they have been given to find each other, even for such a short time. Survivors include her Husband Eric Ortega, Daughter Autumn Williams, Son Bradley Ortega, Granddaughter Scarlett Rose Ortega, Parents Dominick and Mary DiNielli, Sister Catherine and husband Rob Clark, Sister Bridget and husband Sean Akers, Sister Christy and husband Ben Herrera, Grandmother Mary Benitez and Nephews Riley and Evan Akers.
