Max N. Valdivia 71, has passed away on Saturday May 14th, 2016. He was born on June 24th, 1944 in Somis, California to George and Josephine N. Valdivia. He will be greeted in Heaven by his siblings Herman Valdivia, and Joella V. Corralejo. Max has lived in Moorpark, Ca since he was 11 years old. In 1963 he married his high school sweetheart, Josephine (Meca) Corralejo and together they have raised four children, Rita, Max Jr., Michael, and Melissa. Max worked as a machinist/supervisor for Shamban Polymer Tech for 35 years and was known as a very dedicated , focused and respected worker. In his free time, Max was all about his cars. He would work on them in his garage at home or at a friends house and sometimes spend all weekend there. He would work on his 1967 Chevelle SS and go to San Fernando raceway and Irwindale Speedway to race his car. He loved doing that with his younger brother Herman. Max was a true family man. He wanted to make sure his family was always happy and enjoying the fun things in life and he made sure of that. He loved going to the beach and fishing with his family and cousins. Having BBQ's and inviting our neighbors, friends and family over to spend time together and just have fun. He loved listening to his doowop and oldies. Max will be remembered as a good man, who helped his family, friends and anyone he could. Whether is was borrowing something, or just giving advice. He was a man that stood his ground on any situation. If he felt that there was something that needed to be done or said, he would make sure to do it and not stop till it was. He knew it was the right thing to do. He did it from the goodness and caring of his heart and that will always be his Legacy. There will always be an empty space in his family's heart, but they find comfort in knowing he is in the arms of our Lord and there will be no more pain. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
