Max T Miles With great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Max T. Miles son, father, brother and uncle, on Sunday August 26, 2012 in Oxnard, Ca. Max was born on July 12, 1969. He was born and raised in Oxnard CA. Max is survived by his two daughters, Selena Miles age 17 and Sylvia Miles Moncayo age 7; mother Effie Rodriguez; sisters Cynthia of San Jose and Regina of Oxnard; brother Frank of Oxnard; and his nieces and nephews. Max attended New Life Church where he also volunteered his time. He was attending Oxnard College with the goal of becoming a Chemical Dependency Counselor. He had compassion and a need for helping those who struggled with addiction. Max’s plan was to transfer to a four year university to further his education in the area of behavioral sciences. His hobbies included attending sporting events of his favorite teams the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Francisco 49ers. Max was an avid sports memorabilia collector. Other interests included local and world politics, history, and of course his favorite conspiracy theories. Most of all, Max loved and cherished his family and spending time with them. Max will be greatly missed for his joking ways and his ability to make his presence known. He will forever be in our hearts. A Visitation for Max will be held on Friday, Aug 31 from 5-9pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Home Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo. A Funeral Service will he held on Saturday, Sept 1 at 10am also at the Perez Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura.
