Maureen “Micki” Ann Bell (née Lavery) passed away peacefully at home with her husband, Robert, at her side on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 50 years old.
Micki was born in Oak Park, Illinois, on May 19, 1959, to George and Vernyle Lavery. She was the fourth of five children. They settled in Oxnard, California in 1986 where they raised their daughters, Meghan and Lindsay. Micki worked as a pharmacy technician for thirteen years, a job that brought her much joy.
She is survived by her adoring husband Robert, eldest daughter, Meghan, new son-in-law, John, and youngest daughter, Lindsay. She is also survived by her mother, Vernyle, her siblings, Nancy, Patrick, Jeannie and Susie, and her many nieces and nephews. Her father, George, precedes her in death.
