Mary Helen Gurrola

Mary H. Gurrola (Nena) Fillmore, CA. Nena H. Gurrola, 53, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011. She was born September 17, 1957 in Santa Paula to Angie & John Gurrola. Nena was raised in Fillmore, CA. She attended Ventura College and worked for Verizon as a telephone operator. Nena’s hobbies were cooking, watching movies, and listening to music on 45’s and casettes. She is survived by her son Joseph Cardenas who is stationed in Afganistan/resides in Colorado, by her daughter Taylor Gaitan who lives in Fillmore, CA, by her grand children Joey Cardenas, Mia Cardenas, Joshua Cardenas, Cassandra Alamillo, and IsaiahTorres, her sisters Laura Flores and Christina Hanna, and her brother Robert Gurrola. The family would like to thank Elizabeth Ramirez for all of her support and care of Nena.
