Mary Edna Ferro

Mary Edna Ferro 1922-2012 Born in Az. to Thomas Watson(Tx) and Leona Jane Leath(Al), Mary had one brother--“JD” & 2 sisters--Geraldine and Anna Virginia Ray. She migrated to California where she practiced nursing in Long Beach. In 1956 she married K.O. Dean, and helped raise his two daughters--Linda and Susan. K.O. passed away in 1969. A few years later Mary met and married August J. Ferro of Camarillo. Mary and “Gus” traveled the world and built a wonderful home in the estates, where they enjoyed many fulfilling years together. Mary loved Camarillo, her home, her numerous dogs, Hawaii, playing bridge, traveling with Gus, and her family. Her family is very glad they were able to Celebrate her 90th birthday with her in March! Quite a milestone! She is survived by a very large extended Ferro family, her daughter Susan (of Camarillo), her husband Tom, their sons Tyson & Tanner, grandson’s Dean & Scott and their families, niece Stacy, her Arizona niece Leona & nephew Jim, Nephew Tom, son-in-law Tom, and great nieces Susan & Linda. Mary requested no services. There will be a small, private gravesite blessing, and a “gathering” at her home of family & friends on Sunday 6/3 at 3:30.
